Det här är ytterligare en variant. Här öppnar man upp en passage från tryckledningen till returledningen för att minska flödet/trycket till styrväxeln. The Adjustable Power Steering Valve is used to vary the line pressure in the power steering system. It does this by opening a passage from the pressure line to the return line. Therefore, both lines must be connected to the Valve. The pressure line runs through the lower, 1/4" pipe inlets in the valve and the return lines are run through the upper, 3/8" pipe inlets. There is no specific flow direction for the Valve, so the lines can be run through the Valve in either direction. The Valve can be mounted in any position. To adjust the Valve, turning the Valve Knob IN will increase the line pressure in the system and will make the steering easier. Opening the Valve Knob OUT will reduce the line pressure and will decrease the line pressure in the system and make the steering harder, or firmer. The final setting can be locked by gently tightening the jamb nut against the hex knob.
