De ligger på c:a 470-480 hk mot 450 original. Det är ett strikt reglemente som talar om vilka mods man får göra. Nära 500 hk är ju snuskigt mycket effekt oavsett hur mycket det är vässat på maskinen..
Hur pass får man modifiera chassit? Det ser ju ut att vara väldigt bred spårvidd jämfört med original om man tittar på bilderna. om man får ned vikten på bilen (den är väl ohyggligt tung i standardskick om jag inte kommer ihåg fel) och får modifiera fritt i chassiväg, då borde det gå undan på banan.. _________________ /Anton Lillsund |

REGLERNA SPEED GT - the rules The Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) organises the SPEED World Challenge that consists of two separate race series for touring cars and production car similar GT cars. Champion Racing competes in the GT class with the Audi RS6. The key elements of the SPEED GT regulations: Cars: The SPEED World Challenge GT cars are based on production models that may be modified for racing. A datasheet detailing all modifications and components allowed is issued by the SCCA for every car. Only cars built between 1997 and 2003 are permitted. Engines: Normally aspirated or turbo engines based on the production car versions. Minor modifications compared to the series engine are allowed. Tyres: A maximum diameter of 18 inches, one make tyre from Toyo. A minimum of three of the four tyres used in qualifying must also be used in the race. The quantity of rain tyres is free. Weight: A minimum weight for every car is determined by the SCCA. Handicap system: Handicap regulations are valid for cars registered for the manufacturers' championship: The first three cars in every race receive additional weight. In addition, the SCCA reserves the right to adapt the basic weight and tyre width to guarantee parity of equipment. Schedule: Every SPEED World Challenge event is comprised of practice, qualifying and race. Speed limit in the pit lane: 45 mph. Qualifying: A qualifying session at every race decides the starting grid. Refuelling during qualifying is prohibited. Start: Standing start. Race duration: A maximum of 50 minutes. Drivers' championship: At every race, points are awarded to the first 25 finishers as follows, 30-27-25-23-21-20-19-18-17-16-15-14-13-12-11-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1. Bonus points are awarded to the fastest five drivers in qualifying, the fastest driver in practice, for every driver who led a lap and for the driver who led the most laps during the race. No scores are dropped; in the event of a tie at the end of the season, the best single results determine the winner. Manufacturers' championship: The best-placed car of every registered manufacturer is classified.
