I just had a chat with Harald Parnell who has hired Gelleråsen on the 30th of April (it's a friday)
There is still room left for 10 participants. Price is SEK 1000 for the day.

Last time I participated it was well organised with 2 groups (beginners or not), flag posts were all manned, he had an ambulance on the spot and mats Lindh was in charge of showing us the right racing line which was fun and sometimes different . Max number of participant is 35 so there is plenty of free space on the track and plenty of track time.

If you are interested post here and I will PM you the payment details. First come first serve.

Do you know anything about the actual times for the 30th of April?

Start at 9,30 and ends 17,00 at the latest.

Not much else to say really there is no website or anything! I think he posted it on the web site of the ring runners of sweden but I don't know the adress ?

As I mentionned for those who want to drive just tell me and I will PM you how to send the money to Harald. He will send a confirmation by regular mail with the precise time schedule and the final list of participants just a few days ahead (he wants to get more participants on board first). So far mainly Porsches, M3s but there should be a Z8 as well and last time there was an Elise and a few Ferraris. Nice cars but don't be put off by it last time the nicest cars were the (well not all of them but it's partly true )

Yes 1000 SEK is a bit high I agree and it's Valborg but you will be home before the grill cools down (I certainly hope I will be !)

No critic from my side either I was just expecting more interest but it's true this year it seems there is a lot of driving opportunities

Jag hade gärna kommit. Tycker inte 1000kr är för mkt om det innebär mer körtid.

Hmm, skulle vilja åka på Gelleråsen någongång i år. Men på Valborg går det tyvärr inte så bra. Dessutom tycker jag också att 1000:- är lite för mycket...

It may well be so that the clio could feel awkward but it all depends on how fast the clio driver is
There is a beginners group as well in case you change your mind !

Michael - I called him to check, unfortunatly this is not opened for pure race cars, your car has to be street legal.

I just received the confirmation from him 20 participants (still 15 places left) including 2 TVRs

Jag funderar på att dyka upp, eftersom det inte var tillåtet med passagerare 8'e Maj (bmw norge).
Vill gärna ha flickvännen med i bilen, tråkigt för henne att bara titta på. Jag återkommer under helgen.
