RC för en MacPärsson?

Hur räknar jag ut RC på en bil med fjäderben? Man ska ju rita in förlängningen av undre och övre bärarmen. Den undre är ju lätt.. men den övra?
Tar jag vinkelrätt ut från fjäderbenet vid topplagringen eller?

Sen skulle jag vilja veta exakt hur jag ska göra för att mäta upp RC? I teorin är det ju enkelt. Men hur gör jag rent praktiskt?

Q: I road race a 3rd generation Camero which has McPherson strut front suspension. Since there is no upper A-frame how do I calculate my instant center and subsequent roll center.

A: At the top of the strut, draw a line perpendicular to the strut and extend it until it intersects with the line extending from the lower control arm. The intersection of these two lines is the instant center. From this point you can finish the drawing to find the roll center just like you would for a double A arm suspension.

Caution: lowering the roll center on a McPhearson car tends to do really bad things to the camber curve. You are likely to reduce your front traction and wear out the outside edges of the tires. For more info go to the McPhearson page in the software section.

Då var teorin som jag trodde då.... nu är bara frågan hur jag ska göra är jag står där med bilen i garaget och med måttbandet i högsta hugg....
