Team Calibra

Dear freinds,

sorry that i write in Englisch but i'm from The Netherlands.
My name is Andre and i'm a big Opel fan, and the President of a Opel collectors club.

Now i have seen that there is a team i you're country that raced with a Calibra, named Team Calibra, has any one information about this car, i have seen some small picture's and it looks as a EX DTM/ITC Calibra
from 1996.
Do you know more about it.

I have try to send Team Calibra a email, but the emailadres is wrong.

Please can you help me ???

The Car is based on a DTM/ITC Calibra but its rearwheeldrive and powered by a 4,4 liter BMW V8 engine.
And its not a genuine DTM car but a very nicely built replica.

Think its a replica.... and it used to have Hasseröder on it as well before he raced it (its forbidden with alcohol in sweden on racecars)

Vill bara på detta sätt rätta till saker. Det är en BMW motor på 3982cc inget annat.
Bilen är ett original DTM chassi köpt hos Rysselsheim i Tyskland.

According to the owner the car is bought directly from Opel in Rüsselheim, so it's not something home-made!

As someone needs info in English I herewith let you know that I late September last
year have sent all info to " Opelmad". As I haven't heard anything from him I suppose that
he is pleased. If any more questions don't hesitate to revert in this matter

I think that you are thinking for a car that is located in a workshop near the coast in south of skåne. I lived in the village where the car is located, maybe i can get hold of the owner if you want to?
