Enda spelet jag vet som man kan köra Enzo på Ringen.

McLaren F1 spöad iaf

Enzons slutfart är högst också.

The McLaren F1 is a relic in perfomance when compared to the Enzo or the Carrera GT, its 370 km/h means nothing anymore. The top speed wars is long gone since 1987 that Ferrari came out with the F40, the F1 came out much later and the big exotic car companies didn't care much about top speed superiority anymore, but Lamborghini that its always on the hunt since they don't have anything to keep them alive but to make or try to make faster cars than Ferrari so they can sell. Also lets not forget the street Porsche GT1 which destroys to shame the F1 in acceleration all the way to its top speed of 278 km/h. The Enzo is good enough for 400 km/h but Ferrari thought of a balanced car overall so they kept it at 350 km/h. The F1 got its speed because of lightweight and a monster motor but the car at high speeds just over 320 km/h its a scary and nervous ride, just look at its skidpad of 0,87 g's, that was ok for a Porsche 1986 944 turbo but pathetic for a million dollar overpriced car. Go to the track and watch a street version of the F1, the car leans all over the fast corners like a pig.

det var något som slog mig när jag tittade på ett -gammalt- topgear reportage om mclaren F1, den är så HÖG! markfrigång som ser ut att slå t.ex. en alfa 147!

men att den bara skulle klara 0.87G i en skidpad låter ju galet lite? körde de med vettiga däck tro? bara för att en bil kränger behöver väl inte det betyda att den svänger kass?

F1 ser jäkligt mjuk ut när den kör på bana, men dom säger ju i något repotage att den även ska vara bekväm..

Men de är väll uppe i 4 g..

Tror att Stefan Bellof fortfarande har varvrekordet på ringen med 6.52 i en Porsche 962 Sportvagn och Le Mans vinnare. Tror inte Enzo kan matcha en riktig grupp-A sportvagn. Fast den är säkerligen snabbare än Porsche Carrera GT.

Det var väl 6:11 och i en 956 dessutom (som är en Grupp C-bil om man ska vara petig... ).

För övrigt läste jag i nån av alla otaliga tester som finns av Carrera GT att Carreran skulle vara en aning snabbare runt bana än Enzon enligt Walter Rörhl, inte mycket men ändock. Vilken bana det var framgick inte.

Jag skrev att jag trodde att Stefan Bellof hade satt den tiden men det är säkert mycket riktig som du skriver. Orsak till att jag är tveksam till att Porschen skulle vara snabbare är på grund av targan och därmed kan den inte få en lika bra hållfastighet i karossen?

Bilen är väl byggd som en öppen lemans prototype?.. så nej, den blir inte styvare med taket på (ifrån vad jag läst)

Skidpad siffran är helt ointressant!! Eller snarare är endast intressant om resultatet 0,87 G är taget i 320 km/h Skulle vilja se den skidpaden om en bil kränger eller inte är inte heller något bra exempel på om den fungerar eller ej.

I think Car magazine tested both the F1 and the F50 at Estoril and the F50 was 2 sec faster. Then BM tested the 3 cars (with a new F50 that couldnt revv to more than 7000 RPM ) , the F40 lapped Tsukuba 0.9s faster than the F1.
Then Sport Auto tested both an F50 and an F1 in japan and said the F1 had troubles shaking the F50 on mountain roads.

Visst är 0,87 märkligt lågt.
En intressant uppgift kan kanske vara att Ferrari har optimerat Enzon för att gå så snabbt som möjligt vid en kurvradie på 200 m där den är bra mycket snabbare än just F50.
