Hittade detta på VW Vortex forumet, där står det att det är bil nummer 40 som är ombyggd "The car is chassis #040, produced by McLaren Cars in 1995 and originally finished in Magnesium Silver. The new owner, who posts under the username 'flemke' on Pistonheads.com, had the car repainted by the factory (a common practice for new owners) to this rather unque shade of blue upon purchasing it. You'll notice from the pictures, he has also chosen to have the factory wheels painted/powdercoated black - this is the only car I've seen with this change, though there are a few with polished factory wheels. You might also notice this car is one of just a handful that feature a rare McLaren option of high-mounted mirrors.
