Ruf video @ Ring

I have it from a very reliable source that the successor of the wildly popular Ruf Yellowbird Nurburgring video will be shot this morning with a Ruf R Turbo - 550hp 4WD version. Driver again will be Stefan Roser. Sabine will be among those performing video duties. There are a few people attending at amongst others Brunnchen to get some live action pictures.

Also Johan will be picking up a Harge Z4 5.0 for a day's 'testing' - and it will be put through its paces at the Nordschleife...

Latest update is that the R Turbo has encountered some technical difficulties. However Ruf have also brought a prototype Boxster Coupe and CTR2.

Z4 5.0??!!!
Ska Johan köra den på ringen alltså? :woot: (jag tänker på tempot han valde med Z4 3.0'an när vi var ett gäng ute på Djurgården för ett litet tag sen )

Well the initial feedback I received regarding the Z4 5.0 today was that it was a bit slow. I recommended turning on DSC for the launches and that seems to have helped.

After seeing his reaction after driving the Z4 3.0 - I would be very surprised if Johan doesn't come back from driving the Hartge Z4 5.0 completely in love...

Well, the Ruf Porsche woke me up this morning while sleeping in
Breidscheid....only thing I hearded was squeling tyres in Wehrseifen and a
lot of smoke true the trees ) I run up to Wehrseifen and it was just
SUPERB to see them drift time after time!! Then in Breidscheid it was even
more fantastic...he made drifts with his right-rear wheel over the curbs
over and over agian!! Amazing....Bergwerk was nice too..I talked to the guys
short, and the told me they were gonna use the helicopter too in the
afternoon..but I didn;t see it the whole day. Around six he hit a curb
comning down drom Esbach into Brunchen and he made a HUGE oilspill untill
Pflantzgarten I almost crashed my brandnew bike on it.....only 800 km on
it:) I stopped and warned the traffic. The Porsche was standing at
Pflantzgarten, didn;t seem to bee too bad.
