Men den avundsjuka gnällspiken i mig protesterar:

Nu är det säkert en väldigt erkänd förartalang som rattar, men jag kan ändå inte
låta bli att fundera över hans körteknik och rattfattning - lite improviserat sågande
och händerna typ fem-i-ett.

I mina amatörögon ser det inte särskilt bra ut.

Men bilen låter bra!

Tyckte den lät rätt ballt men såg inte för fager ut.. Men de e väl bara jag...

Måste säga att jag tycker bilen är ful.
Men det lät gått.
Vad är det för typ av motor???

Det är en boxer 8'a det är juh föregångaren till världens vackraste bil, Porsche 917k

"As the FIA had announced in 1967 to change of the rules for the World Championship for Marques by limiting the displacement of prototypes to 3000 cc as in Formula one, the new 908 was the first Porsche sports car that had an engine with the maximum size allowed, as the Porsche 907 only had 2200 cc engines. The new 3 litre Flat-8 engine produced initially 257 kW (350 hp) at 8400 rpm, as well as some teething problems. Also, being traditionally air-cooled and with only 2 valves per cyclinder, it was still down on power compared to more modern F1 designs which delivered over 400 hp, but were not suited to last in endurance races."

om inte jag har fel så är det inte någon "erkänd förartalang som rattar" utan en entusiast med en ovanligt stor samling gamla entusiastbilar, t.ex denna Porsche 908/3..


"Porsche 908/3 owner Phil Daigrepont tells us all about this unique car. This was the last model of the lightweight, flat eight cylinder race cars that Porsche built. It features an unusual transaxle in that the transmission section is between the engine and the differential, not behind the differential and rear axle. This puts less weight hanging out behind the rear axle and concentrates virtually all the car's weight within the wheelbase. This leads to very responsive handling. The frame is made of aluminum tubing with a light fiberglass body. The engine is three liters in displacement with Bosch mechanical fuel injection.
