I think we can forget about horsepower when talking clutch "hold up" capabilities.
The thing of concerne is torque. So, Zoom has a calculator for the perpose,

Put the
1 Clutch plate outer diameter.
2 Clutch plate inner diameter
3 Coefficient of friction
4 Clamp Load
5 Number of friction surfaces
And you will get the answer in Tq ibf capability.
