Men efter att jag kollade närmre på motorhuvsvinkeln så verkar han mer kontrollerat sätta den i upprepad sladd.

Tim; Welcome to Rejsa.nu, this video with the S14 is totally different in drivingstyle compared to the V8 Toyota, this is what we have been discussing here in this thread. Fnatte thought that the Toyota was extremly nervously set-up.

I wouldn't really say that I meant "extremely" nervous, but I know what you mean, Kristian.

Yes the driving style would be different but Id say more due to the car and its setup than anything else. The s14 was nicely setup but wasnt his car, the corolla he built, and I imagine hes got it set to his style of driving, which is pretty extreme. I was lucky enough to go for a ride and its got masses of grip, almost like a gokart and needs to be driven hard. Then he had less power and was struggling a lil to keep the drive up the hill, but in this video he has 270rwkw so it creams the tyres nicely. I wouldnt say it was nervous on the limit, maybe he is refering to down the back straight where he was hitting the grass verges on each side? The kid has a very extreme driving style and always is looking for big angles and speeds. This would be the fastest pass on this track I've seen. Also note this was a demo too so really only playing around and not trying to be too technical through the corners, you can notice he looks back at too see where the other cars are.

I've admitted my misinterpretation of the car already, but in Swedish. It was down the back straight, as you said, that I thought it looked twitchy, driving on oversteer and then the recoil is too great putting the car in series of skids down the straight. My argument was that common drifting(as far as I've seen) tend to pull out of the drift into a straight line, prolonging the oversteer and batteling the recoil, hence proving carcontrol.
I didn't give it any thought of this being a demo, even though it's obvious come to think of it.

Yes he was certainly hanging on there down the back straight, and I agree with your explanation of the recoil but as you noticed he wasnt reallly waiting for that he just kept his foot into it! That would appear in this instance as being a little slippery on the limit considering he was running falken semi slicks! I think maybe he was using the grass verges to his advantage to get the car to turn more sharply on the recoil? Sorry to bombard with links but heres one from the last round of the season running 60kw less power but may give you a feel of what the car is like at competition speeds and the alike. ALso note the last 2 battles he was driving with the handbrake stuck on, you can hear this in the last incar shot.
